Study on the Influence Law of Friction-Thermal Interaction on Coated Surface

In order to avoid serious friction and wear on the friction contact surface, the deposition coating technology is used to process the coating on the surface of the disk sample, extract of surface topography data of coating, characterize the quality of the coated surface, utilize geometric Model of friction disk on groove coated surface by reverse modeling technology. Based on the pressure equivalent relation, the thermo-mechanical coupling finite element simulation of the friction contact pin-disk model of groove coated surface is carried out, the variation rules of temperature and stress on the coating surface are obtained. The results show that the groove coating structure can accelerate the heat transfer of the disk surface, reduce the contact area in the friction process, reduce surface temperature and equivalent stress. The groove angle and width have obvious influence on the temperature and equivalent stress of the coating surface, When the groove angle is 45°, the width is 0.5mm, the temperature and equivalent stress of the coating surface are the minimum. The above research results provide an idea for surface strengthening and meso-structure design of brake disc.
