Why High-Order Integrators Not Rational on Electrical Systems' Computer Calculation

The article considers the problem of using high-order numerical integrators to solve the problem of finding transients in electric circuits. The research conducted using explicit Adams formulas from the first to the fifth order and a simple model of the first order inertial block (circuit). Using the above formulas, discrete transfer functions of those models of the first order block obtained, based on which the presence of additional zeros and poles in the obtained discrete transfer functions in comparison with the continuous system shown. According to the research results, the irrationality of using high-order numerical methods for the analysis of the electrical systems' dynamics confirmed.
