Personal Effectiveness and the Innovative Decision-Making Skills on Electrical Engineering Education

The article considers the peculiarities of acquiring the personal effectiveness and innovative decision-making skills on electrical engineering education. Studies have confirmed that, in addition to limited resources, innovation management is complicated by the level of training of specialists, which affects the level of necessary knowledge required in making and implementing management decisions. This is especially important in the context of Industry 4.0 progress. Insufficient level of mastery of methodological tools for assessing the effectiveness of innovation, lack of willingness to take innovation risks are often the reasons that prevent companies from implementing both product and process innovations. In order to acquire the necessary competencies in the training of specialists, it is advisable to pay attention to the need to teach disciplines related to the development of personal initiative, ensuring personal effectiveness and efficiency.
