The Variant Analysis of the Local Heat Release in the Rotor of a Synchronous Machine Under Short-Term Operating Conditions

Variant calculation research revealed the main regularities of the distribution of heat release along the radial and tangential coordinates at the pole division in the active zone of solid gear rotors when starting synchronous machines of various designs. The changes in the values of local specific heat releases in the elements of the surface layer of characteristic cog divisions and, in general, in individual structural areas of the rotors in the slip function are analyzed. Based on numerical modeling, an assessment of design measures aimed at reducing local thermal loads in the rotor elements during asynchronous start of electric motors of compressor stations of main gas pipelines is carried out.
