Talking Multimeter and LCR Meter: Accessible for Blind or Visually Impaired Persons(VIPs)

Reading the Values of electric components and parameters is quite a tedious and strenuous task sometimes. Other factors such as the growing popularity and use of very small packaged components and managing inventories of components having unreadable markings worsen the situation. On the extreme end, all these struggles transform into a gigantic hurdle for visually impaired students and electrical/electronic enthusiasts to carry forward their interest in the field. This paper discusses the design of one of the plausible solutions by building and designing one of its kind talking Multimeter and LCR meter that can measure and speak out the value of measured value as and when required.
