AGE-SVN: Auction Game based 5G Enabled Smart Vehicular Network using D2D Communication

Smart communication is essential for the vehicular network where a large number of sensor devices are installed to monitor the vehicles, as well as massive number of peoples who travel on it. In AGE-SVN, we have focused on 5G smart heterogeneous network (HetNet) for vehicular communication with Device-to-Device (D2D) communication technology based on game theory. In AGE-SVN, action game theory is used to allocate spectrum resources to the vehicles. A utility function is proposed through which spectrum manager allocates the resources to the vehicles. The power consumption (PC), Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) and spectral efficiency (SE) of the proposed AGE-SVN are calculated and compared it with the previously published network. The proposed AGE-SVN has reduced PC by ~ 12% – 38% and increased SINR and SE by ~11% – 58% and 3% – 20% respectively, from other vehicular network, which is very useful for vehicular communication.
