Abstract:

Photonic crystal optical cavities were designed to achieve high sensitivity phase sensing with full 2\pi phase shift, with great potentials for high speed phase tuning in both transmissive and reflective configurations. Measurement of phase information was also demonstrated on single layer photonic crystal cavities.
