Wavelength Selectivity in a Polarization-Insensitive Metamaterial-Based Absorber Consistent With Atmospheric Absorption Windows

We propose a polarization-insensitive metamaterial-based absorber consistent with the atmospheric absorption windows. The proposed design realizes triple narrowband perfect absorptions, whose absorption peaks perfectly match the atmospheric absorption windows while maintaining low emissivity within the atmospheric windows of $\boldsymbol{3-5\mu \mathrm{m}}$ and $\boldsymbol{8-12\mu \mathrm{m}}$.
