Determining Fish Features Decision Support System (DSS) with Oreste Method

Fish is a source of animal food that has various advantages and good nutrition for consumption by all people who do not require special slaughtering methods. This research aims to determine the characteristics of really good quality fish to be fit for export properly, so a decision-making system is needed. The method used to make decisions in this study is Oreste. The data processed were 5 fish ponds from 6 criteria. the assessment in determining the quality of exportable fish quality decisions are fish eyes, fish meat, fish odor, fish weight, fish age and fish gills. The assessment can be developed with criteria that will be used as a reference for grading fish features that are fit for export. The assessment of each criterion was obtained from the assessment according to interviews with several fish breeders in Indonesia. With the selection of exportable fish, it will be easier to compare the results of research performance. The results obtained by using this method were able to get the best fish characteristics with the results obtained by 41.5, namely from the fish eye. Making these decisions helps the community in evaluating fish.
