A Proposed Approach to Indoor Navigation and Store Recommendation

The internet has led to technological advancements in innumerable aspects of one's life. However, there has not been any change in the traditional ways of shopping in a mall. Shopping malls are a complex ecosystem with numerous shops that are constantly changing, the project, a mall navigator and recommender, aims to simplify the shopping experience. The proposed solution aims to have a store recommender and a navigator that dynamically creates a route of the best stores recommended for you and navigates you to them in the shortest possible way. The research is based on implementing the best recommender system for stores and the fastest and most accurate navigation system that can be used for indoor mapping. The proposed approach aims to solve the problems encountered while shopping in a mall by providing a system that efficiently navigates through the selected stores.
