Impact of digitalization factors on EU economic grow

The main aim of this paper is to evaluate impact of digitalization factors on EU economic grow. This paper examines the relationship between Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) and EU countries and EU manufacturing sector macro indicators. The relation between selected variables evaluated using linear correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis calculated with Microsoft Excel. Research shows that digitalization skills of human capital is a critical factor for digitalization itself. Human capital criteria strongly correlate with use of internet, integration of digital technology and digital public services. As the digitalization skills of human capital increases, so does the growth of EU economy. Our research reveals that number of people employed in manufacturing sector growing over the period of 2015-2018 together with unemployment in EU, what is shown by positive correlation (0,59). Moreover, average personnel cost for manufacturing companies has negative correlation with overall EU labour cost index.
