Wearable Microstrip Patch Antenna for Disease Detection and WiMAX Application

The wearable antenna provides flexibility and ease of integration with fabric materials. Wearable antenna finds application to remotely transmit/receive sensor data for medical applications. These devices help in monitoring the health of people with flexible antenna employed at different parts of the body. In this paper, the proposed antenna designed to operate dual-band pf 2.4 GHz and 3.5 GHz. The antenna will operate at 2.4 GHz for tumor detection and also different applications such as Wi-MAX at 3.5 GHz frequency. It uses silk as a substrate and provides an acceptable Specific absorption ratio (SAR) value.
