Wide-Angle and Wideband 1-D Dual-Polarized Linear Phased Array

In this paper, the proposed array can feature an operating frequency bandwidth of 1.7 octaves (3-5GHz), as well as a scan range up to ±60° along the array longitudinal direction for the two polarizations. The proposed design is verified by reasonable agreements between simulated and measured results of a $1 \times 20$ prototype, which provides a potential solution to the dual-polarized linear array under strict requirements on large scanning range for the two polarizations, operating bandwidth, low array profile and small aperture occupation.
