Iterative Solution for SIE Based on Domain Decomposition Method for Scattering Analysis

In this paper, an iterative approach based on the domain decomposition method is proposed to accurately and efficiently solve the electromagnetic scattering problems, which is based on the fact that the electromagnetic coupling effects are results of the countless scattering and radiation of electromagnetic waves among multiple objects. It is found that the proposed formulation is equivalent to the Jacobi iteration of the original problem, which can mathematically guarantee its convergence. Then, two numerical examples are carried out to validate the effectiveness of this formulation.
