Optimal control techniques and singular perturbation method as a reconstruction algorithm in applied potential tomography

A two-stage method for solving an applied potential tomography problem is developed. In the first stage, using optimal control techniques, an approximation of the potential in a domain Omega is computed on the basis of what is known on the boundary of Omega . In the second stage, using the singular perturbation method, an image of the conductivity distribution in Omega is reconstructed.<
