Photovoltaic Sudden Cloud Compensation Device Using Modified LCL Filter Converter Configuration

Energy is a very important contributor in life. In order to stabilize the operation of independent microgrids as in standalone photovoltaics, power fluctuations caused by renewable energy power outages must be handled properly. So far, for maximum power point tracker (MPPT), a variety of MPPT algorithms have been proposed, which can be divided into two groups of algorithms. However, under environmental changes, the algorithm cannot adjust the reference voltage, so a large power loss will occur. The algorithms provided include Hill Climbing Algorithm. This research provides a method we propose to improve the performance of a single converter by designing compensation device to the simulation. Theoretically, by adding modified LCL filter in the system should compensate the starting overshoot and sudden undershoot for better stability. It is proven that the current overshoot has decreased by 61,684% and the current sudden cloud undershoot has decreased by 11,915%. Power overshoot also decreased by 4 7, 951 % and the power sudden cloud undershoot has decreased by 12,262%.
