Elimination of self-oscillation mode in a thyristor-controlled induction electric drive

The features of the dynamics of the open-loop system “single-phase thyristor voltage converter - induction motor”, due to the presence of internal nonlinear positive feedback on the conduction angle of thyristors, are considered. The structural diagram and transfer functions of the harmonically linearised system are obtained, taking into account the nonlinearities of internal feedback, and the conditions for stable operation without self-oscillations are determined, depending on the parameters of the drive.
