Design and Development of Intelligent Assistant Mobile Application for the Elderly

With the popularization of smart devices and the development of mobile Internet, the elderly have also become one of the user groups of smart phones. Due to the physical and psychological particularity of the elderly, the elderly have poor experience of using smart phones. Therefore, the research group adopts Android native technology, Spring technology and front-end separation technology to design a mobile application of intelligent assistant for the elderly that meets the characteristics and needs of the elderly. The mobile application is designed for human-computer interaction in terms of vision, touch and voice according to the characteristics of the elderly, which is easy for the elderly to use. Practical results show that this mobile application is a quick use tool with good information interaction. Its interactive functions such as information assistance and health reminder based on personalized customization of the elderly can provide them with good information life services and bring convenience to their lives.
