A Developed DS-CDMA Detection based on ICA

This paper provides proposed Blind signal detection for the Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Accesses (DS-CDMA) systems, both noisy and multipath fading channels are considered. The FastICA algorithm had been applied to the DS-CDMA signal separation, and Gold codes were used to separate the original message of user. The proposed detector is completely blind method (performed received signal only without using pilot or training sequence to identify the signal for desired user which led to higher spectral efficiency), the proposed detector was test for various number of users. The ICA-RAKE detector had been proposed to get better performance in condition of multipath fading channel. The proposed detector had the best performance in comparison with the other conventional methods of detections such as Matched filter (MF) and Single User Detector (SUD).
