Characteristics of Metallized Polymeric Raw Materials

On the example of metal-filled polyvinyl chloride composites obtained by processing metallized polymer granules, the need to develop an additional indicator that will better characterize the properties of polymer composites is shown. The proposed hand takes into account the change in the size of the polymer granules used for metallization and characterizes the metallized raw material by the number of granules required to obtain a material with a metal content of 1%. The use of such an indicator allows explaining the different behavior of metal-filled composites with the same metal content in them. The developed indicator is informative and easy to use and define.
