Compact and Inexpensive Terahertz System Driven by Monolithically Integrated Commercial Light Sources

With the dissemination of new methods and applications in terahertz spectroscopy and terahertz nondestructive testing, the need for compact and low-cost systems is increasing to enable small companies and research groups to work in these fields. Therefore, we present a compact and inexpensive terahertz spectrometer, achieving dimensions of 300 mm x 270 mm x 110 mm, a bandwidth of 1.22 THz, and a peak dynamic range of 70 dB.
