An Inline Microstrip-to-Waveguide Transition at 300 GHz

This paper presents an inline transition between microstrip line and rectangular waveguide using a ridge structure. The simulation shows an insertion loss less than 3.6 dB and a return loss better than 10 dB from 285 to 315 GHz.
