Precision Clock Synchronization Method for Towed Line Array Sonar

Towed Line Array Sonar is widely used in the field of underwater target detection. The synchronization performance of each channel of the Towed Line Array Sonar array signal data acquisition has a significant impact on the performance and effect of the later data processing. This paper proposes a precision clock synchronization method for Towed Line Array Sonar with simple structure, high synchronization precision, strong anti-interference capability and less wiring. The feasibility of the whole scheme is verified by circuit tests, and the maximum synchronization delay between 64 receivers is only 35.6 ns. The scheme has been practically applied to a type of sonar, and has good reliability and implementability.
