Optimization of Integrated Energy Service Provider Considering Carbon Trading

Carbon trading and integrated energy systems reduce pollution in terms of total emissions and energy use efficiency, respectively, and have attracted great attention all over the world. Integrated energy service providers use a variety of energy supply equipment including renewable energy generator and coordinate flexible load to play a key role as prosumers. As a multi-energy agent of retail users and the responsibility body of carbon emission, its optimization strategy under the new framework is urgently needed to be studied. To study the operating strategies of integrated energy service providers under carbon trading, this paper first established a user utility function model that takes into account the shiftable electricity load and the heat load reduction. And then the model including distributed equipment supply cost, public grid transaction costs and integrated energy service providers' utility model considering carbon transaction costs is established. Finally, a case analysis is used to verify the effectiveness of the model proposed in this paper. Demand response effect and the impact of renewable energy penetration rate on system carbon emissions and renewable energy curtailment rate are analysed.
