Analysis and Countermeasures of Transportation Safety Supervision Performance based on typical cases

With strengthening of the supervision and management of transportation safety in China, frequent occurrence of transportation safety accidents has been curbed, but risk pressure of major safety accidents is great. In the investigation of accidents, it is often exposed that safety supervision responsibilities are not implemented. How to avoid being held accountable has become hot issue for safety regulators. In order to further learn the lessons of major accidents, this paper focuses on typical cases of major road traffic accidents that have occurred since 2015, and analyzes the main reasons from the aspects of administrative licensing, administrative inspection and administrative penalty, etc. The responsibilities of work safety supervision and management are classified. Based on PDCA cycle model, transportation safety production supervision performance of duty is established. In view of problems exposed by the accident, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to further strengthen the implementation of safety supervision responsibilities for administrative departments of transportation industry.
