Influence of matching size of detachable connector and bushing on insulation performance

In this paper, two-dimensional axisymmetric modeling is used to simulate the electric field distribution of separable connector and bushing under different matching sizes, and the reasonable structural optimization design scheme and installation fit size are given. The size and position of the internal shielding of the bushing have different effects on the electric field distribution after assembly. By studying the typical structures of several separable connectors and bushings for 12kV switchgear, the electric field under different matching sizes and shielding modes is simulated and analyzed. On this basis, the discharge probability coefficient α is introduced to judge the position where the discharge occurs first. The results show that: for the structure optimization of the detachable connector and the bushing, the shielding position of the two affects the electric field distribution. The metal mesh is embedded in the epoxy resin as a shield, and the distance between the end of the shielding net and the taper end of the sleeve is reduced, the step size of the detachable connector matched with the bushing is increased, and separable connectors are shielded by step part all semiconductor. It can play the role of uniform electric field.
