Analysis and Evaluation of Tomato Fruits for Different Qualities with Correlation Image Sensor and Ringview Optical System

In the plant factory, agricultural products' quality and maturity are evaluated by agricultural workers, and loss due to misjudgment is a problem. In order to solve this problem, agricultural products are evaluated using imaging technology. However, existing imaging devices have some problems such as they are influenced by object surface orientation and distance. Therefore, in this study, we considered whether tomato' quality can be predicted by using reflectance of tomato which is obtained by using an imaging system that combines the Correlation Image Sensor and the Ringview Optical System that is not affected by imaging distance and orientation of the object surface.
