This study aims to identify the technology trends for the application of Blockchain technology across the industry 4.0 technological landscape. The study achieves the aim using patent descriptive analysis. The study highlights the patent publication trends, major technological categories for the collected data, along with citation analytics for top patents as well as companies. Major technological trends are Blockchain applications across Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and record management systems using cloud architectures.
