Abstract:

In-Band Distribution Link (IDL) was previously proposed to deliver backhaul signals to Single Frequency Networks (SFN) transmitter as a low cost and spectrally efficient alternative to fiber optic or dedicated microwave links. Self-interference at the IDL receiver due to the loopback signal from the co-located SFN transmitter is the main challenge in IDL signal detection. In this paper, a novel RF cancellation technique along with digital cancellation is proposed for self-interference cancellation.
