Design and Integration of Gateway Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for Automotive Electronics Applications

Gateways are an important unit of the automotive industry to automate the functions of a vehicle electrically. The gateway helps the Electronic control unit to process the data sent by the sensors by converting it into suitable format which is understandable by the ECU. This paper discussed the design and implementation of how the messages sent by the ECU's are handled by the gateway and also gives an insight of the overall working of a gateway and how to approach the designing of the gateways.
