Study on the influence of micro-texture parameters on the lubrication performance of hydraulic cylinder plunger

In order to improve the sealing performance of the piston of the airborne hydraulic cylinder plunger, a modification study was made on the clearance surface of the piston gap of the cylinder. Construct a three-dimensional surface micro-textured dynamic pressure lubrication model and hydrodynamic control equations, apply the computational fluid dynamics method, and use the Gauss-Seidel iterative method to numerically analyze the dynamic pressure lubrication performance of the micro-textured surface, and then obtain an oil film Carrying capacity, sealing performance of plunger motion pair. The results show that: 1) With the groove texture width from 20um to 180um, and the texture surface coverage increased from 10% to 90%, the bearing capacity of the oil film surface first increased and then decreased, the bearing capacity reached at 75% area ratio The largest and the best sealing performance; 2) The dynamic pressure lubrication performance of the four different shapes of the texture sealing interface is: T type> rectangular type> elliptical type> V type. Reasonable texture parameters and cross-sectional shape can effectively increase the bearing capacity of the oil film and improve the sealing performance of the hydraulic cylinder sealing pair, provide a theoretical basis for the optimization of the groove texture design of the hydraulic cylinder seal pair in the future.
