Gain Assessment of Reflected Rays in a Boost Specular Reflector Photovoltaic System

In the context of improving the efficiency of photovoltaic installations, several studies and methods have been developed, the aim of this work is to present and evaluate the gain obtained by equipping an existing panel with specular reflectors. To achieve this objective, the mathematical model of the useful component of the rays reflected on the solar panel by a specular mirror is constructed. This model is carried out on the basis of the matrix calculation, in order to quantify and evaluate theoretically the gain obtained by the mirrors. To prove the efficacy of the proposed model, simulation analysis was carried out on three different sites in Morocco. The obtained results demonstrate a positive and a remarkable gain of useful irradiation collected by the solar panel.
