Modeling and Control of a Synchronous Buck Converter Fed by Single Phase System For Charging The Urban Electrical Vehicles

In this paper, a recommendation of an on board charger topology is proposed based on single phase source as input voltage for charging the new urban electrical vehicle Citroen AMI. The main purpose of this work is modeling and control of a DC/DC non isolated architecture as battery charger. To achieve this goal, the battery vehicle a Li-ion battery model of Matlab/Simulink is used and a power stage is designed and controlled using the constant current and constant voltage algorithm.
