Adaptive single neural network control for a class of stochastic nonlinear time-delay system with unknown dead-zone

In this paper, adaptive control is developed for a class of stochastic nonlinear time-delay system with and dead-zone input by using single neural network approximated method. The unknown nonlinearities are lumped together and approximated by only a single neural network. Furthermore, the proposed and systematically derived control scheme avoids the possible controller singularity problem and the any boundedness information of the dead-zone parameters. The boundedness in probability for all the signals of the system is guaranteed by using the presented control approach. The properly chosen design parameters are able to make the tracking errors arbitrary small. Finally, using a simulation example, the effectiveness of the presented control design scheme is illustrated.
