Same-Frequency Simultaneous Transmit and Receive for Full-Duplex Applications

Broadband radio-frequency (RF) communications systems need to transmit and receive signals simultaneously, a capability called full duplex. To date, most full duplex systems leverage components that route signals at a bi-directional port to/from either one RF port or a second RF port based on the frequency bands of the signals. The components designed to achieve such signal routing are known, appropriately enough, as duplexers.
