The 0.4 kV Automatic Balancing Device Model

The modelling results of an autonomous automatic balancing device used in 0.4 kV power grids for electrical voltage quality increasing are given. The model of the electrical network presented in the article was developed in the "Matlab" software package and showed the effect of the researched balancing device implementation. This device allows to improve the electrical energy quality when the permissible network voltage asymmetry of 0.4 kV electrical grid is exceeded due to different phase loads. Possible positive and negative effects of installing the device for all the circuit consumers are investigated.
