October Is Energy Awareness Month: How Did You Celebrate? [Happenings]

Reports on the month of October as the National Energy Awareness Month. This is an initiative from the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) dedicated to raising awareness of energy efficiency needs and initiatives (US DoE, 2020)! There is even an Energy Efficiency Day on the first Wednesday in October (since 2016) (Energy Efficiency Day, 2020), which is Oct. 6 this year.
