Producing Design Solutions for Vocabulary Game Using User Centered Design (UCD)

English as a foreign language is studied across the world, of course, includes Indonesia. The results, though, are still not as good as expected. Technologies are one of the tools in learning a foreign language. Gamification is one of the ways to learn English better. This paper tries to create design solutions with UCD to create the fairest game to learn vocabulary for users. This research collected data from 103 respondents in November 2020. The respondents were those who have used language learning applications. The respondent watched a video using the interactive User Interface (UI) of the application (prototype) before using it. The use of questionnaires was used to look for user's requirements. With the use of UCD, we specify the context of use, the user requirements, and the design solutions that exist; Landing page, leaderboard, badges, point systems, vocabulary builder, word's definition, and flashcards. This research aims to recognize the user's expectations and the User Interface based on the user recommendation.
