Design of Broadband and Large Incident Angle Transparent Absorber

In response to the current low detectability requirements for optical windows, this paper proposes an optically transparent absorber based on indium tin oxide (ITO) and metal grid structure, which is composed of PET, copper grid, PMMA and cross-ring ITO. The total thickness is 3.85mm. The simulation results show that the absorption rate can reach more than 90% in the range of 6.3-19.3GHz, the relative absorption bandwidth is 102%. The good absorption properties can be maintained within the incidence range of 60 degrees. Meanwhile, high visible light transmission rate is achieded. Based on the high transparency and good absorption, the optically transparent absorber has broad application prospects on many experimental platforms.
