A Comprehensive Monitoring Approach of Abnormal Problems for the Ecological Environment in Qinling Region

Qinling mountain was the dividing line of climate between the North and the South of China and an important ecological security barrier, However, there exist some significant problems such as the decline of ecological environment quality, illegal construction, etc. Moreover, Because the geographical location of Qinling region was special and the forest resources was rich, it was time-consuming and difficult to obtain information and monitor change by using manual supervised and inspected methods. Therefore, a new monitoring approach using the integration of remote sensing satellite image, 1st general survey result of geographical condition, topographic and geomorphologic data and other professional data, etc, which can actively find the abnormal problems of ecological environment, was proposed in this paper. 2526 DOM result was generated as the reference data for the basic and thematic monitoring of suspected problem spots. In addition, 2341 problem spots had been found during the year of 2019–2020 in total, by the integration of data processing and outdoor field verification. Because the experimental areas of Qinling region selected in this paper was large, the proposed comprehensive monitoring approach recommended in this paper can be used as a significant method when finding the suspected problem spots of ecological environment.
