Application Methods of Artificial Neural Network in Pattern Recognition

Artificial neural network is a non-linear dynamic system. It takes an important place in knowledge processing. This paper discusses the applications of artificial neural network in knowledge processing and pattern recognition synthetically, especially the theories and applications in adaptive filtering, feature extraction, feature selection, data fusion, function mapping, system identification and fault diagnosis. These have great importance in resolving the problems in state measurement and fault diagnosis.
