Performance Enhanced Triangular Multiband Patch antenna using Reactive Impedance Surface

The need and development of modern wireless devices which can resonate with more than one frequency standard is increasing drastically. This provides the opportunity to develop multiband antennas. The problems of low impedance bandwidth and gain of wideband antennas can be overcome by using multiband antennas. This paper proposes a performance enhancement of metamaterial incorporated triangular multiband using Reactive impedance surface. The proposed variant resonates over seven bands with good return loss and gain.
