A Study on Continuing Education for Standardization Professionals in China

This paper studies the needs and contents of continuing education for standardization professionals. Based on 392 standardization professionals questionnaires, 480 enterprise recruitment information, local organizations examinations in China and standardization literature, this paper analyzes the demands of education and requirements for professionals competence from the perspective of practitioners, enterprises and governments, and proposes a system of knowledge and skills for continuing education for standardization professionals. Network education is a more suitable form of continuing education for standardization professionals.
