Research on MAC Protocol Based on Mine Wireless Sensor Network

Aiming at a series of problems such as the fixed network structure and the fragile communication lines of the existing mine monitoring system, a new type of mine monitoring and emergency communication network has been constructed. When the wired communication is interrupted, the system wakes up some WSN nodes, and the WSN network quickly forms the Etherent-WSN-Etherent architecture. The paper designs a low energy consumption MAC (LEC-MAC) protocol based on asymmetric Quorum system. This protocol has data frames with priority flags, divides the network into multiple clusters, and adopts a new wake-up mechanism to realize automatic switching of different working modes. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional DCF protocol, our proposed algorithm reduces energy consumption and improves network throughput to meet system requirements.
