Active Millimeter Wave Imaging based on CGC Lens

Millimeter wave (MMW) focal plane imaging systems based on traditional polymer lenses are generally of poor imaging quality. In this work, we introduce a cage-shaped granules of conductor (CGC) lens into an active millimeter wave (AMMW) focal plane imaging system and evaluate the focusing performance of CGC lens. Imaging tests are performed on different mental objects including concealed dagger carried by human body, and the imaging quality is acceptable.
