Application of area metric in reliability evaluation of simulation models

With the development of technology, the complexity of electromagnetic products has been greatly improved. Electromagnetic simulation analysis is playing an increasingly important role in the actual production and research. Because there are a lot of uncertainty problems in the actual equipment system, the accuracy and reliability of the simulation model become the key of the system simulation. Model validation measures are accurate quantitative calculations of the difference between model output and system response. In this paper, an area metric index is introduced to quantitatively calculate the reliability of the uncertainty simulation model, the principle and properties of the area metric index are introduced, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the area metric index are verified by numerical examples.
