Research on the Pressure Pulsation Characteristics of the Driving Structure of Aero-engine Pneumatic Polisher

Pressure pulsation is the main factor that affects the polishing effect and safe and stable operation of the aero-engine pneumatic grinder. In order to study the unsteady flow in the driving structure of the grinder, ANSYS CFX is used to perform three-dimensional unsteady constant values on the entire flow channel of the pneumatic grinder driving structure. Simulate and obtain the time-domain and frequency-domain characteristics of the pressure pulsation at the three main positions of the impeller inlet, impeller flow channel, and impeller outlet under different flow conditions. The research results show that when the number of grids is more than 3 million, the numerical simulation results are basically consistent with the model test results, and the numerical simulation has high accuracy. The pressure pulsation at different monitoring points under different flow conditions has obvious periodicity. The pressure pulsation in the impeller channel is the most complicated. The main frequency of the pressure pulsation is the blade frequency, and the secondary frequency is 2 times the blade frequency. There are more frequency divisions and low-frequency signals are the main cause of pressure pulsation, and when there is too much deviation from the design conditions, more energy loss occurs in the impeller flow passage. The research results provide a theoretical reference for the stable work and analysis of the work effect of the pneumatic grinder.
