IR Scene Projection by Optical Down-Conversion

Recent work is presented on the development of multiband infrared scene projection technology using a combination of down-converters and conventional display systems. Phosphor materials and quantum dots were prepared using solid-state and colloidal techniques and applied as films or printed pixels to various imaging devices.
