Improvement of Body Areas Microwave Imaging Using Reflector Filter Antennas

At FSS structures, pattern of matched bandpass DR reflector filter antennas built of coplanar microstrip ribbons are used for biological microwave imaging. In this article, the filter pattern is applied for identification of objects, in the way that array or single patterns are positioned on object surface and a plane wave is radiated from one side and the frequency response is received from other side according to pattern shape, results in the object identification. Horn antennas are usually waveguide excited at numerical methods. Here coaxial cable are utilized and compared and the radiation boundary for its open surface is considered at HFSS. Also metal reflector grids for omitting lower frequencies or receive middle frequency may be used.
