Performance Comparison of K-Band Sequentially Rotated Wideband Circularly Polarized Phased Arrays using Different Array Lattices

This paper presents a performance comparison of a K-band wideband sequentially rotated circularly polarized phased array aperture utilizing three different array lattices – triangular, square and hexagonal. These array lattices were assessed for their circular polarization and radiation performances. The square lattice was found to be superior compared to its triangular and hexagonal counterparts.
